Sir Ken Robinson – Leader of Cultural Innovation
Sir Ken Robinson, leader of cultural Innovation, author, speaker and international advisor led a discussion on education presented by SVI on October 18, 2013 at the Resort at Squaw Creek. In attendance: 630 patrons. Community impact: Ignited inspiration, positivity, and creativity among community educators, parents, professionals, and students. Over 250 students were inspired to make create personal expressions of art embodying quotes and concepts from the presentation that stuck with them. This was a wonderful opportunity for the community to ask questions in an open discussion with Sir Ken.
Squaw Valley Institute (SVI) would like to thank everyone who attended the event. It was an inspiring and illuminating presentation! Audience members had such passionate and thoughtful questions during the speaker Q & A portion. A very special thanks to our generous event and organization sponsors. Also, thank you to those who participated in our silent charity auction and raffle. Our organization is deeply appreciative of the generous and continued support from our members, donors, and sponsors.
Thank you to everyone who attended this event!
