Squaw Valley Institute relies on the efforts and talents of its volunteers to create and organize its events, staff its office, and raise funds to support operations. Regardless of whether you are able to volunteer a few hours of your time, or would like to be involved on an ongoing basis, we would love to welcome you to our group of volunteers. Our Advisory Committee is responsible for planning and arranging our events. It meets twice per month for two hours in Squaw Valley, and is a great way to influence Squaw Valley Institute's programming! Click here for more info!
Involves staffing the door and ticket sales at events and helping to set up and clean up after events; some volunteers choose to join us regularly, others for just a specific event. Marketing Volunteer Our events are publicized through radio, TV, posters and online marketing. Let us know if you're able to aid in developing these channels! Fundraising If you have innovative ideas and a drive for arranging fund raising events and programs, we’d love to work with you! Grant Writer Squaw Valley Institute has been the fortunate recipient of grants from several local foundations, and we hope to continue this success by involving additional grant writers in our plans. Graphic Designers We’re always looking for talented graphic designers to aid in developing our event posters and brochures. Database Management If you're a whiz with SQL, we can definitely use your skills in maintaining our membership and mailing lists! |
